Director's Vision
Sergiy Pudich - A personal statement about the inspiration and goals for the film.

For the past thirteen years, every short film, commercial, and documentary I have created has been a step toward this moment — the chance to tell my first feature film. The Quiet Logic of the Universe is more than just a story I want to bring to the screen; it is the story I feel I was meant to tell.
What drew me to this project is its quiet honesty — the way it looks at love not as a beginning or an ending, but as the fragile, complicated space in between. It is about memory, regret, and the silent forces that shape our choices. These themes are deeply personal to me. As an artist who has lived and worked across different countries and cultures, I've often found myself searching for meaning in the spaces between relationships, places, and languages. This script mirrors that inner journey.
Directing this film is not just another step in my career; it is a culmination of everything I have been working toward. I want to bring all of my experience as a cinematographer, storyteller, and producer into one cohesive vision — to create a film that feels intimate and human, yet cinematic and universal. I believe in its potential to connect with audiences who have loved, lost, and searched for themselves in the echoes of silence.
I am committed to pouring all of my creative energy into this film. From the careful framing of every shot to the emotional truth of every performance, I will dedicate myself fully to making this story resonate. For me, this film is not only about the characters on screen — it is also about honoring the years of artistic pursuit that led me here.
The Quiet Logic of the Universe is the film I have been waiting to make my entire career. And I will give everything I have to bring it to life.
